Nabiya, nabiya iri-nara onera?
Norang nabi huin-nabi chum-eul chu-myeo oneora?
Do these lyrics look familiar? It’s a popular Korean nursery rhyme classic and one of the few that I remember. And thanks to Tuttle Publishing, my memory has been totally refreshed with this fun book titled Korean Nursery Rhymes by Danielle Wright. The book includes 13 other classic songs and rhymes. All the lyrics are written in Korean Hangul, the Anglicized version of Korean, and English. If you’re not familiar with the songs, the book comes with a CD which features each song in both Korean and English. The illustrations were done by Helen Acraman and are playful and vibrantly colored. This would be an excellent addition for your children just learning Korean!
Tuttle Publishing has been generous enough to giveaway a copy of this book to one lucky reader. You will not regret having this in your child’s library and they will love you for it. Enter below for a chance to win! The giveaway ends on Saturday!
