We like to mix it up here at kimchi MOM. If you remember, I had a Thursday Three series where I shared three things that interested me that week. Well, I miss doing those posts and I wanted to bring something like that back to the blog. Just a post every now and again where I shoot the breeze and maybe give away some good stuff.
This week I am giving away a children’s book titled “My First Book of Korean Words – An ABC Rhyming Book”. Published by Tuttle Publishing, it’s a cute book that illustrates some basic Korean words. It’s not a formal language learning book, per se, but it introduces the Korean language to kids where English is their first language. The words that are reviewed are associated with objects and activities that most kids are familiar with in English. For example, nolda (playing) and hanbok (Korean traditional clothes). The prose includes the Korean words or hangul that accompanies the anglicized version of the words. And it’s all accompanied by wonderful, dreamy illustrations. This book has been in heavy rotation in our bedtime reading line-up.
Tuttle Publishing has been generous enough to giveaway a copy of this book to one lucky reader. You will not regret having this in your child’s library and they will love you for it. Enter below for a chance to win!
