1 – Foodie.com
Have you joined Foodie.com? It’s the latest and greatest platform in recipe and restaurant collecting. Recently, it’s been my go-to for bookmarking recipes that I want to share and, more importantly, want to make. It’s visually tantalizing. I swear there’s not one bad photo in the collection. They’ve also been running some fun themed contests/missions/sweepstakes which I never thought I’d participate in, but the platform makes it really easy to add recipes. You can follow me here! Right now I’m participating in their “Play Ball!” sweepstakes and here’s my #ballparkfoodie collection. Fun, eh?
If you’ve joined Foodie.com and you need a little guidance, Ben Rhau and Alex Tonner joined Chef Dennis Littley during a hangout on Google+.
2 – “Sharing” is caring…stealing is not
Are you a Facebook user? If you’ve every “shared” content on Facebook, then you need to read this piece over at the website, i am baker. Contrary to popular belief, just because stuff is out on the internet, it’s not a free-for-all. Please read.
3 – Food Art
I want to see more food/cooking videos like this…don’t you?

I am barely keeping up with twitter/facebook/google + and pinterest. I don’t think I can add foodie on top of what I already have. 😀 Your effort is amazing!!
Believe me, my “efforts” are not consistent. I’m mostly on Twitter and Facebook. G+, Pinterest, and Foodie.com when I remember! 🙂
Wow a lot of insightful content. I agree with Sue. Your “effort is amazing”. How do you do it with a full time job, a husband, and kids?
It helps that I don’t have a full-time job outside of raising the kids, but I’m still trying to work on consistency! It’s really difficult to stay on schedule with posts.
Foodie sounds like an awesome site..will sign up! Also I love, love that video that you just shared “food art”…wonderful video! I read that post from im baker- she did fantastic job!
Great post Amy! Well done as always
Hi Sandra – Thanks! Foodie.com is new and growing, but I like the group of people who founded it (same people from Foodbuzz). I feel like it’s a combination of Foodbuzz and Tastespotting. Let’s hope that content and comments are little more regulated than “some other site”…
